SmartSpace: one place where AI does your work
Why we built our own platform instead of handing every client a loose collection of scripts.
In our launch post we named three levels at which SmartAgents operates. The third was the most ambitious: building software that carries out tasks fully autonomously. That's not an empty promise. SmartSpace is what it looks like in practice.
What is SmartSpace?
SmartSpace is a platform we deploy directly inside your organisation. Not a generic AI tool, but an environment configured entirely around your context: your processes, your data, your needs.
The starting point is the SmartScan: a short assessment that maps out where AI will make the biggest difference for you. From there we configure SmartSpace to fit. And it doesn't stop there. As your organisation grows or changes, SmartSpace adapts with it.
More than a chat window
Most AI tools stop at a chat interface. SmartSpace goes further.
Alongside the AI chat, SmartSpace offers a full suite of applications, each tailored to specific needs within the organisation. What makes them distinctive is that they are not isolated. You can interact with them from the chat, directly through the interface, or both at the same time, whichever is most practical in the moment.
AI does the work, you stay in control. That's the core of SmartSpace.
Every workflow inside SmartSpace is AI-enhanced. That does not mean AI takes over everything. It means every step in a process becomes smarter, faster and easier. Fewer clicks, less context-switching, more done.
Agents that actually do things
At the heart of SmartSpace are the AI agents. These are not bots that answer your question and then go quiet. They execute tasks, work through multiple steps, and do it autonomously, from start to finish.
Which agents are available and what they can handle is aligned to your organisation. The starting point is always your business context, not an off-the-shelf package.
We are our own first customer
We are our own first customer: SmartSpace already runs inside SmartAgents.
Concretely: we are building SmartScan itself inside SmartSpace. The assessment every customer starts with isn't a standalone tool — it's an application running on SmartSpace. What we promise to customers, we use ourselves every day.
The beta phase in May 2026
At the time of publication, SmartSpace was in beta. We were looking for a small number of organisations to help develop the platform.
